Watching the wizarding world lose a bit of its sanity when Harry Potter turned up dead was a definite highlight of Adalyn’s year. However unknown to the rest of the wizarding world, his death had just been the start. Sure she had killed shop keepers before that and even some people of somewhat importance but no one really cared. Those deaths she was sure didn’t even make the front page of the Daily Prophet. But once she took away the man who stood for hope and goodness in the wizarding world, things collapsed. It took a lot of planning and intelligence to kill the ‘boy who lived’ but after reading history books over and over Adalyn noticed how his go to spell was expelliarmus. A bloody disarming spell. If the man hadn’t used the killing curse on Voldemort, Adalyn knew for a fact that the man had too many morals to use it on a shop owner. It didn’t take long for Adalyn to deliver the final curse and her only mistake was not getting rid of the shop owner’s body quick enough because the aurors had seen the dead body and then her using the shop owner’s identity. Oh well, no one expected the widowed healer to be the mastermind behind this anyways.
And as Adalyn Dolohov sat on the small bench outside some shop in Diagon Alley she couldn’t help but let a smirk go on her lips for a moment that everyone passed by her without a second thought. When Voldemort was around everyone knew what evil like, the dark lord even looked evil, barely human. However Adalyn had a pleasant smile, blonde hair, blue eyes and looked like someone who could be trusted; definitely not the face of evil. It wouldn’t be long before the death eater’s became more prominent in the wizarding world and even then Adalyn was sure that no one would guess that the one who was planning everyone’s death wasn’t hiding herself. She flipped to the next page of the Daily Prophet as she ‘read’ the news. Nothing interesting; some were still talking about Potter’s death, which was a bore. She did enjoy however that everyone thought a man killed him. Wouldn’t they all be shocked when it came out (if it ever did) that a twenty-seven year old female killed the boy who lived? She took a quick look at her watch before she continued to people watch behind the paper. A man tripped over her foot, which Adalyn just nodded her head as he apologized then kept walking. Someone interesting had to be in this bloody town who she didn’t want to kill after hearing them speak a single word.
