WINIFRED BLANCHE FINNIGAN
It was early in the morning when Phoebe left the Ravenclaw common room. The majority of her house was still asleep. It was the weekends, after all. Normally, she would have loved a few more hours of sleep but she was just too excited. It was the weekend to go to Hogsmeade. Plus, she wanted to meet up with her older brother at Honeydukes. It had been a long time since she actually got to spend time with him. Evan was a seventh year, Head Boy, and in Gryffindor which made it hard for her to even see him at all. Sure, they passed by each other once in a while but they never got to hang out anymore. Evan and Anthony were always too busy. It was hard being the youngest. There was also the fact that she was the only one who wasn't a Gryffindor. She liked being a Ravenclaw and all but it was a little sad that she wasn't a Gryffindor like Evan and Anthony. It was probably for the best since it was the Sorting Hat's choice. It was right about all the other sortings. The reason why she had left the common room was to go up to the Owlery. A letter was just what she needed to notify Evan. She hadn't had a chance to talk to him all week. This was her chance. He'd probably be a little cranky about being sent an owl early in the morning. She could always just turn on the charm and make him not be so angry. She was the baby of the family after all. Finally, she entered the Owlery. Phoebe wandered around looking for an owl. The only reason why she was there was because she didn't have an owl of her own. It would have been smart to buy one instead of a kitten. Then again, what did she know? She was only eleven then. She was just happy about getting a pet. Catching sight of an owl, she quickly walked over to it. It was a Snowy owl. For some reason, she had always been so connected to those owls. It reminded her of something but she couldn't figure out what. She attached the scrap of parchment where she had scribbled a small note to Evan and sent the bird on its mission. --- Hours later, Phoebe was well on her way to Hogsmeade. She hoped Evan had received her owl in time. She was looking forward to meeting up with him. She skipped into her favorite shop. The scent of chocolate, cinnamon, and honey reached her nose. It was definitely Honeydukes. Smiling, she made her way over to the section of chocolate frogs. "Cool!" she commented. Just then, the tinkling of bells notified another entrance. She turned around hoping that it was her brother. It was! "Evan! Over here!" Phoebe gestured madly to her brother, a bright smile lighting up her face. this character is played by CORA |
