MONA ELOISE BLETCHLEY
Thalia wasn't usually one to spend time outside of Hogwarts once the term started; she was quite content wandering around the castle grounds, or even making the long trek to Hogsmeade for a butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks. And so it was rather a large surprise when she began to feel the urge to actually go somewhere that wasn’t within her usual limits. Perhaps it was the fact that she’d just finished marking what seemed to be an endless pile of reports on the different types of fertilizer one could use on magical plants, or that she hadn’t been down to Diagon Alley in almost two months, but whatever the reason she found herself thinking that it was a good idea to go somewhere. Donning her cloak, she headed out of the castle and through the main gates, pausing for a moment to consider exactly where she wanted to go before pulling her wand from her back pocket and apparating away. The brunette knew the darkened alley well, and had no trouble weaving her way through all the human bodies that were turning the narrow pathway into a congested mess. Frowning slightly, Thalia shoved her way past a particularly large man before heading into one of her favorite shops; Ye Olde Curiosity Shop. It was rather small, and most people overlooked it as they passed by, but it was one of the places where she felt most comfortable. The small space was comforting, and it’s earthy smell refreshingly familiar. She waved a small hello to the man behind the counter before making her way over to one of the shelves. The one she’d decided to look at first was crammed full of old books, their bindings practically falling off they were so old. She gingerly pulled a book with faded red binding off the shelf, lightly dusting off the cover before opening it. Wincing slightly as she felt the spine crack, Thalia began to scan over the page, not noticing that someone had joined her at the shelf. this character is played by ELSA |
