Ever since Harry's death, things had gone downhill. Having seen Harry murdered, Teddy wasn't doing as well as some might have thought. One that saw through him was Lily Potter, who had been staying at his place as much as she could. The two had kissed the last time that they had seen one another. Both of them had never seen each other as siblings as the rest saw Teddy as being or vice versa. Lily and Victoire were the only two girls that never saw him as a brother. He never saw Victoire as a sister, but saw Lily as a sister when they were much younger. That eventually went away as they grew older. Victoire and him had been together though their relationship had always been complicated. It had ended when Andromeda had died and he had not let her in. Alcohol had become something that he relied on to get through the days after his grandmother's death. It was something that made him irritable, unlike himself. His attitude was most likely what had led Victoire to break up with him. That and the fact that only one person had managed to get through to him. That being Lily, who understood pain a bit more than Victoire. Since that time, the two had grown close as friends. It was after Harry's death that they had both shared their first kiss with one another. No one else knew about it, yet. The reasoning behind that had been Victoire, the awkwardness it would create. The other was the fact that Lily was taken, a week before she was to begin her last year at Hogwarts. Six weeks had passed since she had been taken. In those six weeks, he had spent his whole time looking for her. He spent endless hours up, looking for her and any clues leading to her. It was leading some aurors to worry about him since he never showed up for work. His job was only kept by the fact that he was looking for a missing person. That missing person being the daughter of Harry Potter. Plus, Kingsley was not the type to rule for him to be let go. It wasn't like it was when Fudge had been the minister. In those six weeks, he had managed to stay sober for the sake of staying on task to find her. Though the lack of sleep would have eventually caught up with him, no doubt. For the first time of the week, he was at his home in Godric's Hollow. It was only known to anyone that he had let know about it, the house being kept secret to avoid any unwanted visitors. Six weeks had passed since he had distanced himself from the Potter and Weasley family, looking for Lily. It was certainly a surprise when there had been a knock on the door and he opened it up to reveal Ginny and Percy. Ginny began to speak about how she needed to talk to him about Lily. He simply nodded and moved away from the door, walking into the living room. When they had followed into the living room, he asked, "What is the idea?" Ginny and Teddy perhaps mirrored one another. It was doubtful she got sleep when she had her only daughter missing for six weeks. Her eldest son, a bit occupied with the leadership of the DA. The DA was doing everything possible, but six weeks had passed. Their inner struggle with morals was perhaps what was blinding them from finding a way to her. Teddy barely got sleep and looked like he needed a good day of rest alone. Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, it looked like in that moment that he could have fallen asleep. There were certainly bags uner his eyes indicating that he was doing the best that he could to find her.
