 Four years ago, he had a fight with his girlfriend. They had been together since Hogwarts which would have meant in a girl's mind that an engagement would have came up soon except that did not happen. The two were just starting off in their careers, having finished the training required. The argument had resulted in Eden leaving as he had thought. With her departure, his love life had went from stable to what it was for most guys his age that were single. It resulted in several one night stands and failed short term relationships. It wasn't until three years ago that he received a owl from Eden. It was to the point, nothing too long with details. The owl had said that she was in Russia and had been taken. With that owl, he had given up any relationship that he had presently going on and began his search for her. Unfortunately that search did not last long due to his job. Something that he would have given up, if a former gryffindor hadn't contacted him. Someone that had been living in Russia. With a reliable friend looking for her, he resumed his job though went to Russia to assist the friend. A year had passed since that owl had arrived, it had taken a year for Eden to return to him.

Four years of hell. She had been taken by her father and promised to a man named Alek. Despite being his daughter, she was treated like a prisoner. When she found out shortly after being captured that she was pregnant, it had become a competition to see who could make her lose the baby. The pain she had endured over the years was so extreme that she couldn't even begin to choose a word for it. However, the love that she had for the little boy that grew inside her, made her fight back; not only for his life and her's, but for the hope that she could possibly return home again. The way she left London wasn't on a great note. In fact, she and Noah had an argument that lead to her leaving his home all together. After being together all throughout Hogwarts and afterwards, she had expected...more commitment. It was something that could be considered humorous, now. Luke Thomas McGonagall was born on December 25th of that year...and he was perfect. Three years had passed before she had managed to write Noah in secret, telling him about the situation briefly. It was from that day on that the process had began of getting her out of Russia. Today, she sat on a train, holding the most precious gift she could have ever asked for. Brushing his hair out of his eyes, she kissed the sleeping toddler's forehead before looking at the auror across from her. It was almost time. Glancing out the window, she saw the city begin to appear in the distance.
Her heart was in her throat as they pulled into the station. As soon as they were able to get off the train, the auror had knowingly taken Luke from her arms before Eden had stepped off of the platform...and there he was. Pushing her way through the crowd, she wrapped her arms around him immediately, burying her face in the crook of his neck. "I missed you...so much." she murmured, squeezing her eyes closed. She couldn't hardly articulate how she was feeling into words. Looking up at him, she furrowed her brows worriedly before taking a step in front of him- her back to him as she caught a toddler that was running towards them. Picking him up, she turned around, kissing Luke's head that was now buried in the crook of her neck. He was looking at Noah in awe. "Luke...this is your daddy." she murmured softly, her own eyes glossy as she awaited his reaction.
